For many centuries, gold has symbolized perfection and great value. To signify our commitment and dedication to offer the highest quality eyewear, we’ve incorporated two 18k gold design pieces on our frames. Our 18k gold plates and logo insignia are made in a small family-owned factory in Tokyo, Japan. We use hand powered machinery to cut each individual gold piece. The factory has been in operation for the past 50 years and still uses the same cutting techniques as it did when it first opened in 1964.
Today, most eyewear consumers purchase their sunglasses solely on the design of the frames. While we understand that the design of the frames are a major factor in a consumer’s decision to purchase sunglasses, we at Gordon Graham believe that the quality of the lenses are one of the most important aspects of eyewear. For that reason, Gordon Graham only uses polarized lenses on our frames to insure maximum UV and anti-glare protection. Our lenses are all custom-made in Japan using ultra-thin MR20 1.60 high index polarized lenses. These lenses provide 100% UV400 protection against UVA and UVB rays and are ideal for driving, fishing, sports, and any other outdoor activities.
